Virginia A. Bechtel, 75

OSWEGO, NY – Virginia A. Bechtel, 75, a former resident of Maiden Lane Road in the town of Scriba, passed away Saturday May 7, 2016, in The Manor at Seneca Hill.
Mrs. Bechtel was born in Oswego, the daughter of the late Nelson and Clara (Murray) Bullard.
She was a life resident of Oswego.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed, for many years, as a manager with the McDonald’s restaurant in Oswego.
She was the wife of the late Paul H. Bechtel Sr., who died in 2003.
She is survived by three sons, Ron (Michelle) Bullard of Fulton, Paul (Renee) Bechtel Jr. of Florida and Robert (Jolene) Bechtel of Mexico; two sisters, Linda Bareham of Oswego and Sue (John) Walton of Cato; seven grandchildren, James, Julia, Brittany, Kiley, Jimmy, Morgan and Mason; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son, James Bechtel, who died in January of 2016; a brother, Nelson Bullard Jr.; and a sister, Clara Roundy.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, at Peck’s Cemetery in Scriba.
There will be no calling hours.
