FULTON, NY – Alberto Leyva, 63, of Fulton, passed away peacefully at home on Monday August 28, 2017.
Mr. Leyva was born in Holtsville, Calif., and he had been a resident of Fulton since 2009.
He worked in agriculture for several years.
Mr. Leyva enjoyed working on oragami and he was known in his neighborhood for his love of walking.
He was predeceased by his wife, Guadalupe Leyva Bran, in 2011.
Mr. Leyva is survived by his children: Martin (Cynthia) Leyva of Fulton, Beatriz (Antonio) Baez of Arizona, Alberto (Ashley) Leyva of Colorado, Elias Leyva of Fulton, Cecilia (David) Baker of Fulton and Guadalupe Leyva of Fulton; three siblings: Beatriz, Maria and Alex; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no funeral services.
Burial will be held privately.
The Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton, has care of the arrangements.
