Alice M. Greene

FULTON – Alice M. Greene, 70, of Fulton died Saturday in University Hospital, Syracuse.

Alice was born in Johnson City, NY the daughter of the late Wayne and Evangeline (Brown) Greene. Alice was a resident of Fulton most of her life, where she has many longtime friends. She worked at Oswego Industries for many years, and Alice participated in Special Olympics for many years.  She was a participant in Sunday School at the First United Methodist Church in the past. She loved to wear jewelry and shop for many different kinds of hats, and purses. She had a great appreciation for all kinds of music, and she was an animal lover especially for her cat. Alice enjoyed attending the Seneca Hill Adult Day program for the past several years.

Alice is survived by her siblings Clara (Robert) Hollenbeck of Fulton; Katherine (Robert) Demarest of FL; Howard Greene of Martville; Melvin Greene of Rome; Robert (Candy) Greene of Oswego; Wilber (Krystyne) Greene of Rochester; Alfred Greene of VA; and James Greene of Oswego, as well as her nieces, nephews, and her group home family.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, December 19, 2023, from 9:00 until 11:00 AM with an 11:00 service at the Sugar Funeral Home Inc. 224 W. 2^nd. St. Fulton.
