As he aged into his 90’s and his golfing slowed, he spent his time reading and relaxing in his recliner, enjoying visitors who stopped by. Mr. Fisher made his occasional trip around the bridges and his beloved downtown Fulton.
He found peace as he attended church on Sundays with his grandson, Stafford and made it up steps every week at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Minetto, NY. He had a wonderful celebration on his 99th birthday with an open house. Family and friends stopped by and he received so many cards from his family, friends and the community; many who shared fond memories of shopping at Harris Stores. There were so many smiles and laughter.
