Barbara Hardie, 90

OSWEGO, NY – Barbara Hardie, 90, a former resident of Baldwinsville, died Thursday Jan. 19, 2012, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Utica, NY.

Mrs. Hardie was born in Oswego the daughter of the late Neil and Estelle (Glynn) Gokey.

Mrs. Hardie was a school teacher at the Baldwinsville Elementary School for 31 years before her retirement.

She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Hardie; and her brother, Jack Gokey.

Mrs. Hardie is survived by her sons, Mark (Deborah) Hardie of Barneveld, Christopher Hardie of Florida and Jerome (Julie) Hardie of Victor, NY; and her grandson, Christopher Nathan Hardie.

Funeral services and burial will be at a later date.

The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. Fourth St., Oswego.
