Carmela L. ‘Millie’ Yager, 87

FULTON, NY – Carmela L. “Millie” Yager, 87, of Fulton, died Thursday February 12, 2015, at St. Luke Health Services, Oswego.

She was born in Fulton to the late Joseph and Agatha (Torisi) Cavallaro.

Mrs. Yager remained a lifetime resident of Fulton.

She retired as a general manager from Pathfinder Industries, Fulton, after 17 years of service.

Mrs. Yager was a past communicant of Holy Family Church, Fulton.

She was predeceased by her son, Jason Yager III, in 2000; grandson, Joseph Turner, in 1982; and siblings: Sandy Cavallaro, Frank Cavallaro, Barbara Dagata and Lucy Musumeci.

Mrs. Yager is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years Jason E. Yager Jr. of Fulton; four children: Daniel Yager of Elmira, NY, Christine (Howard) Rose of Baldwinsville, NY, Joyce Turner of Fulton and Julie (Joseph) Crahan of Baldwinsville, NY; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., Fulton, with Rev. Robert Stephenson officiating.

Burial will be held in the spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.

Calling hours will be conducted Sunday 1 to 2 p.m. at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton.
