FULTON, NY – Earl Hofmann, 86, of Granby, died Saturday February 10, 2018, in Oswego Hospital.

He was born in Newark, NJ, the son of the late Julius and Grace (Pealo) Hofmann.

He was a land developer, developing Hofmann Heights on Germandale Drive in Granby, and a farmer where he was the recipient of the prestigious farming award, the Oswego County Top Dairy Producer, he also worked as truck driver for Container Corp. of Fulton.

Mr. Hofmann was predeceased by his twin children, Julius and Jolene Hofmann.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Eleanor (Duger) Hofmann of Granby; and children, Lynn (Greg) Waloven of Hannibal, Rosemary (David) Emmons of Hannibal, Earl Dan Hofmann of Fulton, Patricia (Marc) Marino of Fulton, Tammy Brown of Fulton, and Shelley (Martin) Tomasino of Fulton, adopted son, Heraldo (Barbara) Reyes; 16 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be conducted Tuesday 6 p.m. at the Bowens Corner Methodist Church.

Burial will be private.

There will be no calling hours.

The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar Funeral Home Inc. 224 W. Second St S., Fulton.

The family has requested contributions may be made to Bowens Corner Methodist Church, 758 State Route 176, Fulton, or the Oswego County SPCA.
