Edward B. Hart, 66

OSWEGO, NY – Edward B. Hart, 66, of Williamstown, NY, passed away Friday June 14, 2019, at Oswego Hospital, after an illness.

He was born in Montour Falls, NY, to Leonard and Martha “Gloria” (Ryan) Hart.

Mr. Hart had been a resident of Williamstown for 42 years.

Over the course of his career he worked as a Registered Nurse at the Veterans’ Administration Hospital, Syracuse, NY, Hutchings Psychiatric Center, and the Mohawk Correctional Facility.

Mr. Hart was a lifelong caregiver, he had a kind heart and empathy for his patients and family.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Hope Hart of Williamstown; their daughter and son-in-law: Emily Hart and Christopher Legard of Williamstown; his two sisters: Connie (Frank) Corcoran of Florida and Linda Noll of North Carolina; one grandson: Leo Legard; and several nieces and nephews.

The family of Ed will receive family and friends on Saturday, June 22, at Hartland from 1 to 4 p.m.

Burial will be held privately.

There will be no funeral service.

The Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. Fourth St., Oswego, has care of the arrangements.
