Evelyn Adams, 87

OSWEGO, NY – Evelyn Adams, 87, of Oswego, died Tuesday August 2, 2016, in University Hospital, Syracuse.

Ms. Adams was born in New Haven, NY, the daughter of the late Maurice and Elsie Adams.

Ms. Adams had been a resident of Oswego since 1946.

She was a former employee of McFalls Candy Works of Oswego and she later worked for Oswego County in buildings and grounds.

She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings.

She is survived by her nieces, nephews and close friends.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, August 13, at 1 p.m. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. Fourth St., Oswego, NY 13126.
