FULTON, NY – Francis P. Kehoe, 86, of Fulton, died Monday December 22, 2014, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse.
He was born in Sargent, Nebraska, to the late Bernard and Florence (Knight) Kehoe.

Mr. Kehoe was retired from Sealright Corp., Fulton after 30 years of service.
Mr. Kehoe is a United States veteran having served for nine years the United States Marine Corps.
One of the highlights of his military career was his service as a military guard for President Eisenhower at both the White House and Camp David.
Mr. Kehoe followed his active duty service with 31 years in the Navel Reserves were he retired as a Navy Reserve Chief Warrant Officer-4.
Since leaving the service he became active in several veterans’ organizations such as the Fulton VFW Post #569.
He was a lifetime member of Post #569 serving in every position including commander and the color guard.
He was also an active member of the Fulton Veterans’ Council and the Fulton American Legion.
He was once selected as Fulton’s Veteran of the year as well as a nominee to the New York State Senate of Veterans’ Hall of Fame where he was honored by Senator Patty Richie at Fort Drum Military Base, NY, in May of 2012.
His most recent honor came from the Fulton VFW Post #569 with the dedication of the Francis P. Kehoe Memorial Park located near Route 481 in Fulton.
He was a longtime parishioner of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Fulton.
He was a long time member of the Fulton Elks, the Fulton Polish Club, and the Ancient Hibernians.
He enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing and listening to country music with his many friends and family.
He was predeceased by his wife, Betty Jo (Fisher); his brothers: Bernard J. (Pat) and Darrell G.
Mr. Kehoe is survived by his three children: Debra (Robert) French of Palermo, Deacon F. Phillip (Sara) Kehoe, of Oswego and Michael (Ria) Ballou, of Irvin, Calif.; one brother, Richard (Joyce) of Franklin, NC; one sister, Kathleen LaComb of Niskayuna NY; his loving companion of 12 years, Ruth McAllister; eight grandchildren: Gary, Becky, Kelly, Phillip, Ryan, Matthew, Noah and Owen; several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon Saturday at the Sugar Funeral Home and 12:30 p.m. at Holy Trinity Church, Fulton, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
A spring burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.
Calling hours will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton.
Donations may be made in honor of Mr. Kehoe to the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
