FULTON, NY – Geraldine M. “Jerry” Malambri, 76; of Fulton passed away peacefully at home after a short battle with cancer. Jerry was born in Fulton, NY to the late Viola and Victor F. Malambri.
She was a lifetime resident of Fulton, NY. Jerry worked for Oswego Industries for over 40 years. She was a member of the Oswego Industry Senior Group. Jerry was a former communicant of Holy Family Church, Fulton where she was actively involved with the annual family festival and dances. Jerry loved cats, singing and dancing.
She was always willing to go on outings with her friends especially when it included her favorites: Dunkin Donuts and or Olive Garden. Jerry loved having her nails painted, watching Frozen and Mary Poppins. She also liked playing SkiBo and Uno, but her number one activity was doing puzzles and crafting.
Jerry always enjoyed dressing up and taking a moment to swing around to have her dress twirl. She also loved wearing a “little bling,” and always took the time to put on rings and necklaces before going out for the day even though she usually removed them as the day progressed. Her easy smile will always be remembered and missed by her family and friends.
Jerry is survived by her siblings: Janice Getman of Hannibal, NY; and Rosario Malambri of FL; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Jerry was pre-deceased by her siblings: Victor A. Malambri in 2021, Jean Stoughtenger, Jay Lollier and her sister-in-law: Claudette Malambri in 2023.
Calling hours will be held 10:00 to noon Tuesday, June 13 at the Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton, NY 13069. Burial and Graveside Service will be held privately at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.
