Joseph Bellardini, 85, of Oswego died Wednesday in the Oswego Hospital after a short illness.
Mr. Bellardini was born in Oswego the son of the late Antonio and Alvena (Angelina) Bellardini. He worked for Niagara Mohawk as an electrician at the Steam Station until his retirement in 1986. Mr. Bellardini served in the United States Navy from 1943 to 1946 and 1950 to 1951. He was a member of the American Legion, the Italian American Club, and the VFW Post # 5885.
Mr. Bellardini was predeceased by his wife Jean Bellardini, daughter Mary Jean Bellardini, and sister Louise Joyce.
He is survived by his children Debra ( Robert) Emal of Colorado, Joseph Bellardini of Camillus and Michael Bellardini of Oswego, one grandchild Jeremy and two great grandchildren Gerrick and Logan.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home 147 West Fourth Street, Oswego.
