OSWEGO, NY – Joseph Ritz, 55, of Oswego died Tuesday December 26, 2017, in Crouse Hospital, Syracuse.

He was born in Kentucky, the son of the late James and Nancy (McHugh) Ritz.

Joe was a resident of Oswego most of his life.

He worked in the construction field painting and roofing for many contractors in Oswego.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Susan Ritz.

Joe is survived by his sister, Lisa Ritz of Florida; his brother, Doug Ritz of Oswego; and his niece and nephew.

Calling hours will be Tuesday January 2, 2018, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home 147 W. Fourth. St. Oswego.
