OSWEGO – Joshua J. Pitcher, 27, of Oswego died unexpectedly in Schroepell, NY, on Wednesday October 1, 2025.
Josh was born in Oswego the son of Lonnie Pitcher and Patricia Smith. He was a former bus monitor for the Hannibal School District, and security guard for Brinks, Upstate Hospital, and the Lobdell Center, Oswego. He enjoyed playing video games, going fishing, and listening to music while cooking a great meal. Josh loved above all was spending quality time with his precious sons.
He is survived by his loving fiancée Kathryn Peters, his beloved sons Vitaly Pitcher, Mikey Pitcher, and stepsons Skyler Steinberg, and Ezra Larson. He will be forever loved and missed by his parents Lonnie (Kerry Foley) Pitcher of Oswego, Patricia (Dave Greene) Smith of Oswego, and his sister Ashley Greene of Oswego.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. 4th. St. Oswego.
