FULTON – February 23, 2025, Lawrence J. Regan Sr., 83; of Fulton passed away peacefully home after a long illness.
Mr. Regan was born in Fulton, NY to the late James and Doris (Hutchinson) Regan. He remained a lifetime resident of the area. Mr. Regan was a United States Veteran having served in the Army from 1963 to 1965. He retired from Hutamaki, Fulton as a Foreman. Lawrence enjoyed playing games such as Work Search against his family on his phone. He liked watching old western shows and movies and he looked forward to meeting his family every Saturday morning for breakfast.
Mr. Regan was pre-deceased by his daughter Carol Ward in 2024, and his siblings: Marion, Doris, and Eugene.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years: Nina Regan of Fulton, their children: Calvin (June Schermett) Regan of Fulton, Lawrence (Roxann Clark) Regan Jr. of Fulton and Sandra (John Strout) of Fulton; his siblings: Kay Lamb of Phoenix, NY; and Tom Regan of Hannibal, NY. Mr. Regan is also survived by 11 grandchildren: Alan, Carol Anne, Bryley, Melissa, Marissa, Emily, Charles Jr., Larry Bob, Sandra Lee, James John and John and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring at the convenience of the family.
There will be no Calling Hours.
In accordance with Mr. Regan’s wishes his Burial will be held privately.
The Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton, has care of the arrangements.
