FULTON, NY – Leo P. Pappalardo, 73, of Fulton, passed away on Tuesday June 17, 2014, at Upstate University Medical Center in Syracuse, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Fulton he was the son of the late Phil and Angelina (Curcuruto) Pappalardo.

Leo was employed by Triline Automation Corporation.
He was an active member of his parish church.
Leo loved cooking, singing, fishing and spending time with his family.
His kindness and spirit left a lasting impression on all who met him.
Leo leaves behind his beloved wife of 53 years, Wanda (Cooper) Pappalardo; and four daughters: Beth Pappalardo-Mitchell (David) of Whitesboro, NY, Cheryl (Steven) Sovare of Webster, NY, Angela Pappalardo (Ted Sherman) of Buffalo, NY, and Deanna Pappalardo of Fulton.
Known to his four grandchildren as “Nano,” he will be deeply missed by Leo, Ian, Audrey and Nina.
He is also survived by his sister, Rosa (Richard) Kemmis and brother, Salvatore (Rosalie) Pappalardo, all of Fulton; and sister, JoAnn Natoli of Minetto.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday at Sugar Funeral Home, 224 West Second St. S., Fulton.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2912 NY Route 48, Minetto.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.
In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions to the Golisano Children’s Hospital, Syracuse, or the Catholic Charities Food Pantry of Oswego County.
