Lucy J. Bartrum, 64, of Scriba, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, November 3, 2025, after complications from ongoing health issues.
She was born in Fulton, the daughter of Harold Crofoot of Oswego and the late Sharon (Stacey) Crofoot. Lucy worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Oswego Hospital until her retirement. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially enjoying a good game of bingo together.
In addition to her mother, Sharon, Lucy was predeceased by her brother, Kevin Crofoot.
Lucy is survived by her children: David (Jessica Allen) Clohecy Jr. of Fulton, Alyscia (Mike) Hinchman of Kentucky, and Shane (Lara) Bartrum of Florida; her longtime significant other, Frank Thompson of Scriba; and her father, Harold Crofoot of Oswego. She is also survived by her siblings, Walter (Shelly) Crofoot of Fulton and Carrie (Rick) Burdick of Fulton; her grandchildren, Taylar, Johnathan, Brooke, Colten, Ryker, Bryson, Abygail, Bradlee, Kevin, Kelsey, Harper, and Hudson; as well as her niece and nephews, Baby Wally, Marissa, Sara, and Tyler.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday at 2:00 at the Volney Moose Lodge on Route 57.
The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar Funeral Home Inc. 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton.
