FULTON, NY – Marjorie L. Calkins, 87, a former resident of Fulton, Hannibal, Sterling and Oswego, died on Wednesday May 18, 2016, in Oswego Hospital.
She was born in Fulton, the daughter of the late Elmer and Mary (Carr) Bartlett.
Mrs. Calkins was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward J. Calkins; and son, Waynes R. Calkins.
She is survived by her children: Lyle (Connie) Calkins of North Carolina, Patricia (Charles) Hicks of North Carolina, Stephen Calkins of Massachusetts; 15 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
In addition, she is survived by her siblings: Shirley Schumaker of Fulton, Elmer (Alice) Bartlett of Hannibal and Ronald (June) Bartlett of Oswego; several nieces and nephews and a very special niece, Vicki Calkins.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. at the Sugar Funeral Home, Fulton.
Burial will be in the Hannibal Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Monday 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home, 224 W. Second. St. S., Fulton.
