Mary Losurdo, 86

Mary Losurdo, 86, of Oswego, died Monday in the Oswego Hospital.
She was born in Boston, MA the daughter of the late Joseph and Martha (Rizzo) Costa. Mrs. Losurdo has been a resident of Oswego since 1945. Mrs. Losurdo worked at SUNY Oswego in the personnel department for eighteen years until her retirement in 1985.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Losurdo, brother Nicholas Costa, and sister Nancy Marotta.
Mrs. Losurdo is survived by her children Richard (Catherine) Losurdo of Oswego and Joan (Richard) Goodman of Oswego, and her brothers, Lawrence Costa of New Hampshire, and Dominic Costa of Florida, five grandchildren, Richard (Shelle) Losurdo, Craig (Heather) Losurdo, Jennifer Losurdo, Anthony (Cara) Losurdo, and Michael Goodman, and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home 147 West Fourth Street, Oswego.
