Oren F. Lindo, 83

FULTON, NY – Oren F. Lindo, 83, of Fulton, died at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse, NY, on Monday January 14, 2013.

He was born in Trumansburg, NY, to the late Oren and Nora (Himes) Lindo.

He was a resident of Fulton for most of his life.

Mr. Lindo retired from Nestles, Co., Fulton, after 40 years of service.

He was predeceased by his wife, Lela Lindo, in 2002; one son, Joseph Lindo, in 2007; his brother, Joseph Lindo; and his sister, Mary Matott.

Mr. Lindo is survived by his three children: Sandy (Richard) Foultz of Fulton, Sherry (Lee) Porter of Fulton and Edward Lindo of Fulton; one brother, Edward Lindo of Missouri; four grandchildren: Shawn, Chris, Kim and Tim; four great-grandchildren: Emily, Grace, Emma and Simon; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 5 p.m. Friday at the Sugar Funeral Home, with Rev. Mark Kimpland officiating.

Burial will be held in the spring at Fairdale Cemetery, Hannibal.

Calling hours will be conducted 3 to 5 p.m. Friday at the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton.
