FULTON – May 17, 2026, Rick A. Trask, 58, of Fulton, NY passed unexpectedly Sunday, May 17, 2026; at home while doing something that he loved to do (work on his boat.)
He was born in Syracuse, NY to the late Lawrence and Marilyn (Young) Trask. Rick owned and operated Trask Custom Carpentry, Fulton, NY for 30+ years. He enjoyed being outdoors and was an avid fisherman, hunter and boater. Rick especially loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He was pre-deceased by his wife Jamie Trask in February 2026 and his brother-in-law: Brian Doupe.
He is survived by his sons: Nicholas Trask and Zachary (Jenee) Trask both of Fulton, NY; his siblings: Scott (Sharon) Trask of Pennellville, NY; Brenda Doupe of Phoenix, NY; Roxane (Ralph) Bowering of Fulton, NY; Tonia (James) McDonald of Fulton, NY; his beloved grandchildren: Zadyn, Brooklynn and Wesley; his Mother-in-law: Eileen Krug and his brother and sister-in-law: Renee and Joseph Bidwell all of Palermo, NY and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends and family at 11AM Wednesday, May 27th at the Pennellville United Methodist Church, 389 County Route 54, Pennellville, NY. Burial will be held privately.
The Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton has care of the arrangements.
