Ronald K. Bishop, 66, of Oswego died Tuesday November 22, at St. Joseph Hospital, Syracuse.
Mr. Bishop was born in Oswego and has been a lifetime resident.
He is retired from the IBEW Local 328 –43, Oswego, Syracuse.
Mr. Bishop served in the United States army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Oswego VFW.
He enjoyed the outdoors especially boating.
Mr. Bishop was predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Gladys (Kent) Bishop.
Mr. Bishop is survived by his children Laurie (Larry) Scott of Michigan, Timothy Bishop of Oswego, his sister Joan Gentile, and grandchildren Alicia and Richard.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 AM Thursday at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, with Pastor Bruce Schrader. officiating. Spring burial will be held in the Oswego Town Rural Cemetery. Calling hours will be held 4:00 to 6:00 PM Wednesday at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. 4th. St. Oswego.
