Therese Joachim Dobrowsky

OSWEGO – December 17, 2025, Therese Joachim Dobrowsky, 80; of Oswego, NY passed Wednesday, December 11th, 2025, at Seneca Hill Manor, Volney, NY after a long illness.

Therese was born in Quebec, Canada; to the late Francis and Hortense (Piche) Joachim.  She resided in Vermont for several years and later in life settled in Oswego, NY in the early 2000’s.  Therese was a free spirit and loved living life on her terms-right, wrong or otherwise.  She enjoyed singing, playing guitar and travelling.  Therese was pre-deceased by her brother:  Francis Joachim Jr.

She is survived by her son:  Aaron (Rachel Hendericks) Stark of Oswego; her daughter:  Brittany Finch of PA;  and 4 grandchildren:  Luca, Marijah, Ana and Alex.  Funeral Service and Burial will be held privately.

There will no Calling Hours.

The Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home 147 W. 2^nd St., Oswego has care of the arrangements.
