Jack L. Baker, 54, of Sterling, died Sunday from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in the town of Clay.
Born in Syracuse, he was a year resident of Sterling previously residing in Brooklyn, Michigan. Jack retired from G.M. after 34 years.
He was a Charter Captain on Lake Ontario.
Jack was predeceased by his father, John A. Baker, who died in 2007 and a sister, Diane Winn, who died in 2005.
Surviving: his wife of 21 years, Deborah Somers-Baker of Sterling; son, Brian Baker of Liverpool; mother, Geraldine Baker of Boynton Bach, FL; brother, Don Baker of Cape Coral, FL.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Foster Funeral Home, Fulton has charge of arrangements.
