James B. Hall, 62, a resident of 2904 St. Rt. 48, Minetto, passed away May 25, 2008 at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse.
Born in Oswego, he was the son of the Merritt Hall and Mildred E. (Dumas) Hall of Oswego.
He graduated local schools and Minetto.
Mr. Hall was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam.
He was employed as a Hot Mill Operator at Alcan for over 25 years retiring in 2004. Jim formerly worked at Columbia Mills, Flexo Wire and Hammermill.
Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in the yard, spending time with his children, collecting hats and bingo now and then. He also enjoyed working on his classic car and going to car shows.
Surviving, besides his mother, are his wife, Linda (Perau) Hall, a daughter, Amy (Martin) Galvan of Ill; a son, James (Amy) Hall of Minetto; a brother Gerald Hall of Fulton; two sisters, Evelyn (James) Brown of Hannibal and Judy (David) Longley of Oswego; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 11a.m.Thursday at the Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Minetto Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held 4-7p.m. Wednesday at the Funeral Home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego.
