Jean M. Smith, 85

Jean M. Smith, 85, a life resident of Fulton, passed away into the arms of Jesus on Sunday at Oswego Hospital after a long illness. She was a member of State Street United Methodist Church and was recently attending the Oswego Alliance Church. Her passion was cooking, baking and taking care of family and friends.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, of 52 years, Joseph J. Smith, who passed away in 2004. Surviving are: her sons, Gary J. (Stacey) Smith of Fulton and Randy J. Smith of Volney; two grandchildren, Carol Jean Smith of Fulton and Greg Foederer of Lacona; two sisters, Mary Lou (William) Randall of Palermo and Anne (John) Brokaw of Utica; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Foster Funeral Home, Fulton with burial at Mt. Adnah Cemetery. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 910 Fay St., Fulton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to State Street United Methodist Church, 357 State Street, Fulton.
