OSWEGO, NY – Joyce S. Jodway, 67, a resident of 433 Howard Road, passed away on Thursday Aug. 13, 2009, at Oswego Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Daisy (Samson) Haley.
She attended Oswego schools and was a graduate of Oswego High School.
Mrs. Jodway was the owner of her own business, Joyce’s Riverfront Dolls and Friends, for more than 15 years.
She was a former member of the Moose and was a member of SMART (Special Military Active Retired Traveler) Club.
She was devoted to her family and greatly enjoyed raising her pets.
Surviving are her husband of 33 years, Leigh Jodway; three sons, Robert Fantom and Daniel Haley both of Altmar and Daniel Jodway of Maine; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. from the Dowdle Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 3-6 p.m.
