Leonard I. VanBuren, 48

OSWEGO, NY – Leonard I. VanBuren, 48, and a resident 350 Duer St. in Oswego, died Sunday Nov. 8, 2009, at his home.
He was born in Oswego, the son of Ira L. VanBuren and the late Elinor Anthony VanBuren.
Mr. VanBuren was employed as a driver with CENTRO and was also employed as a LPN at Pontiac Nursing home.
He enjoyed playing softball.
He is survived by his father, Ira l. VanBuren; one son, Eric (Megan) VanBuren; one daughter, Kate VanBuren; his former wife, Junita Seymour VanBuren (all of Oswego); two brothers, Thomas VanBuren of Virginia and Martin VanBuren of Oswego; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Thursday 4-7 p.m. at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
