Margaret Cronkite, 80

Margaret Cronkite, 80, of Oswego, passed away Thursday at The Manor at Seneca Hill.

She was a life resident of the Oswego area. Margaret was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Oswego. She was predeceased by her parents, Sam and Dorys Cook and by a sister, Joan Fike.

Margaret is survived by her husband of 61 years, Merton Cronkite of Oswego; two daughters, Sue Cronkite of NC and Nancy Townsend of CO; a grandson, Jon. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Foster Funeral Home, Hannibal.

Spring burial will be in Hannibal Village Cemetery. Calling hours are 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal.
