Marjorie Brewer Keller, 91, died of congestive heart failure on Monday, September 8th at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse.  A 60-year member and former deaconess of the First Congregational Church in Fulton, she was at one time president of its women’s fellowship.  She  was also a former member of the Salvation Army Auxiliary and the Red Cross.  In earlier days, she was advertising manager of the former Hunter Arms Company in Fulton and instructional manager for the Easy Washing Machine Corp. in Syracuse.

Marjorie loved music, books, birds, antiques, sailing and sunsets, her church and her family.  She shared her father’s love of flowers and often handled floral arrangements for the church altar.  She also enjoyed watching professional sports, especially golf, and was especially excited about watching Tiger Woods, as her many friends can attest to.

She is survived by two children: Christopher Keller of Medford, N.Y., and Kathleen Watterson of Las Vegas, Nev.; a niece, Marjorie Jacob Miller of Tennessee; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford G. Keller, and her elder daughter, Bonnie Keller Stock.

Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Friday with services immediately thereafter at 7 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton.  Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the Keller family requests that donations be sent in Marjorie’s memory to the Zach Dievendorf Benefit Fund, 503 West First Street South, Fulton, N.Y., 13069.
