Michael F. Tondeur, 54, of Fulton, passed away Sunday surrounded by his loving family.
Mike was born in Syracuse and lived most of his life in Fulton. He was a painter with I.U.P.A.T. Local 38 in Oswego. Mike was a drummer for several local and regional rock bands. He was a huge Syracuse University basketball and football fan. Mike was a member of the Fulton Polish Home and the B.P.O.E. Fulton Lodge #830. He was a talented artist and drew many murals in local homes and businesses. He was an avid bowler. Mike was a communicant of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fulton.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Leslee; children, Nicholas (Leslie) Tondeur of Colorado, Ksenia (Ben) Greeney of Virginia and Christopher (Jennifer) Tondeur of Liverpool; his mother, Jacquelyn (Mac) McAvan of Florida; his father, Robert Tondeur of Baldwinsville; sisters, Lisa Thomas of Colorado and Vicki (Jill) Vescio of Florida; twin brother, Mark Tondeur of Oswego; brothers, Peter (Rhonda) Vescio of Indiana and Andy Giamporcaro of Baldwinsville; grandchildren, Aidan and Ava Greeney; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (formerly The Church of the Immaculate Conception), corner of Rochester and South Third Streets, Fulton. Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton.
