Stanley A. Krom, Sr., 75 of Fulton, passed away Sunday at Oswego Hospital. Born in Tully, Stan lived in Fulton since 1963. He retired as a Lieutenant from the Fulton City Fire Department after 24 years of service. He had also worked at Lakeview Lanes for more than 20 years. Stan was Past-President of Fulton Kiwanis Club from 1982-1983. He supported Fulton Youth Hockey.
Stan was predeceased by his first wife, Patricia who passed away in 1976 and by a son, David in 2004. Stan is survived by his sons, Stanley Jr., and Steven (Denise) Krom; brother, Richard (Ruth) Krom; four grandchildren.
Calling hours will be 4 to 7 pm Wednesday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton. Graveside services will be private in the spring. Donations in memory of Stan can be made to Fulton Kiwanis Club, c/o Megan Falanga, 307 Worth St., Fulton, 13069.
