OSWEGO, NY – Theresa M. Laird, 83, a former resident of Pontiac Terrace Apartments and Loretto Nursing Home in Oswego, died Saturday Aug. 1, 2009, in Oswego Hospital.
She was born in Fulton, NY.
She had been employed for many years as a private duty housekeeper and caregiver.
She was the wife of the late Larry Laird.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Bareford and Debbie Hewitt both of Oswego; her grandchildren, Michael Hewitt, Mark Hewitt, Shelly Hewitt and Donald Baptista; several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Gary Laird; and a granddaughter, Holly Laird.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 9 a.m. at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home with Rev. Andrew Baranski officiating.
Burial will be in Peck’s Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
