Oswego, NY – NRG Energy recently presented a check to Oswego County Opportunities, Inc. (OCO) in support of the agency’s 10th Anniversary Bowl-A-Fun fundraiser, according to Diane Cooper-Currier, executive director at OCO. NRG Energy is also sending two bowling teams to participate in the April 2 fundraiser at Lakeview Lanes in Fulton.
“We greatly appreciate the continued support and partnership with NRG Energy,” said Cooper-Currier. “They’ve been a considerable advocate of OCO over the years and we are thrilled to have them participate again this year.”
“NRG Energy has been a proud supporter of the Bowl-A-Fun for many years, and we are looking forward to the festive activities on April 2,” said Moonan. “We would encourage the community to come out and support OCO, participate in the fun, and cheer on the teams that will be participating.”
According to Cooper-Currier, OCO’s Bowl-A-Fun activities are being expanded this year to include a birthday party from 1-5 pm in the Lakeview Lanes banquet room. OCO celebrates 45 years of service to the residents in Oswego County this year. Additionally, the Golden Opportunities cash prize raffle winners will be announced at 5:30 pm.
