OCO Salutes Volunteers of the Year

FULTON, NY – Executive director of Oswego County Opportunities, Diane Cooper-Currier presented Christina Piscatelli and Joe Caruana with the OCO Howard Wilcox Volunteer of the Year Award at the agency’s annual board meeting held March 24 at Springside at Seneca Hill.

The award is given to a volunteer who goes above and beyond when it comes to offering OCO the use of their time and talents.

Piscatelli was recognized for her work and dedication to OCO’s Fulton School Mentoring Program.

She has developed a nurturing and positive relationship with her mentee and stresses the importance of empowerment.

Caruana was honored for his tireless work as a member of OCO’s Board of Directors.

He has been dubbed ‘Joe of all committees’ for his outstanding commitment to the needs of the community.

It is my pleasure to present these caring individuals with this much deserved award.”
