OSWEGO – The Oswego County Office for the Aging will have Farmers’ Market Coupon Booklets available beginning July 1.
The booklets are valued at $20.
There are a limited number of coupon booklets available and distribution is on a first come, first served basis.
There is a limit of one booklet per household.
In order to be eligible, individuals must be age 60 and over and have a gross income at or below 185 percent of the federal poverty guidelines ($1,815 monthly for a one-person household; $2,456 monthly for a two-person household; income levels increase by $642/month per person) or be age 60 and over and currently receiving or be eligible to receive SSI, public assistance or Section 8 housing subsidy.
Coupon booklets may be picked up July 1 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the front lobby of the Oswego County Office Complex, 70 Bunner St., Oswego, and weekdays thereafter at the Office for the Aging in the County Office Complex.
Depending on availability, the Office for the Aging staff is scheduled to distribute booklets on the following dates and locations:
July 6, Parish: Presbyterian Church, 10:30 a.m. to noon.
July 7, Sandy Creek: Sandy Creek Town Hall, 11 a.m. to noon.
July 8, Phoenix: Congregational Church, 10 to 11:30 a.m.
July 9, Constantia: St. Bernadette’s Church, 11 a.m. to noon.
July 10, Hannibal: Community Library, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
July 15, Mexico: Presbyterian Church, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
July 17, Fulton: Municipal Building, 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
