OSWEGO – The Oswego County Office for the Aging will host an Energy Efficiency Improvement Seminar for seniors on Friday, May 30 from10 a.m. to 12 noon. The seminar will be held at the Oswego County Health Department Building located at 70 Bunner St., Oswego.
Guest speakers from Peace Inc., EMPOWER and Rural Development will present information on programs that are available to help make homes more energy efficient.
“This past winter has been an energy and financial drain on residents of Oswego County as well as across the United States,” said Sara Sunday, Administrator of the Office for the Aging. “By bringing these representatives together to inform our seniors of what is available to help winterize and make their homes more energy efficient, the Office for the Aging hopes to help one of our most vulnerable populations save limited resources.”
