OSWEGO, NY – Youth Government Day is sponsored annually by the Oswego Elks Club.
Recently, several Oswego High School students actively participated in the event.
The students attended a luncheon at the Elks Club and heard about the 20/20 Vision Plan for the city of Oswego.
Students involved included (left to right) Elizabeth Roman, Caitlin Sawyer, Eli Tyler, Laura Lawrence, Morgan Lawrence, Jamie Reynolds, Jeremy Gosek, Leah Smith and Pat Holland.
Among the other representatives on hand were: Mary Vanouse from Community Development, Mike Loughery the Exalted Ruler of the Elks, Oswego High counselor Shawn Caroccio, Superintendent of schools Bill Crist, Oswego Mayor Randy Bateman, city council members Connie Cosemento and Ron Kaplewicz, Fred Crisafulli of Oswego Tourism and City Clerk Barb Sugar.
