On Thursday evening, Nov. 19, the former educator, teacher and board of education president and member will have the Oswego Middle School Mini-Theater dedicated in his memory.

The ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. in the lobby of the Oswego Middle School.

The brief ceremony will highlight the numerous contributions which Mr. Palmitesso made to the children of the Oswego City School District.

Guest speakers for the event include his daughter, Virginia Fragale, as well as long-time friend and educator Ed Matott; Superintendent of Schools Bill Crist and Board of Education President Samuel Tripp.

The event is open for the entire community and is a fitting remembrance of a man who made the difference in the lives of children.
