Only Six Point Races Left To Decide 2015 Fulton Speedway Track Champions

FULTON, NY – It feels like the 2015 racing season just started. Coming into August 1, there is only six point events left to decide the 2015 track champions before gearing up for the 30th Annual Sunoco Fulton Ethanol Facility Outlaw 200 Weekend presented by SUNY Canton on October 2-3.

Ehrlich Pest Control will present a family, affordable fun night of racing where adult grandstand admission is only $12 with everyone 18 years old and younger admitted free. Pit admission for is $27 participant/$30 non-participant. Gates will open at 5 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m.

On the race card Saturday will be the Tracey Road Equipment Modifieds,SUNY Canton Sportsman, NAPA Late Models, E&V Energy Novice Sportsman and Hilton’s Automotive Four-Cylinders.

In an effort to give the Pro Race Cars Mod Lites a chance to compete at the August 1 TUSA Series race at Brockville, Ontario Speedway the Mod Lites will not be competing this Saturday at the speedway.

(Tracey Road Equipment Modifieds) – Defending track champion Larry wight got back to his winning ways. In the 35-lap feature, Wight would take the lead on lap 16 restart from Danny Johnson. Once in the lead Wight would dominate the rest of the way outrunning teammate Billy Decker for his fifth Fulton win of the year.

(SUNY Canton Sportsman) – The Sportsman held a special FX Caprara Car Companies Upstate Sportsman Alliance event. In the 30-lap feature USA points leader Dave Marcuccilli picked up the big win. Marcuccilli had to hold off strong challenges from from upstart Fulton regular Todd Root for the victory.

(NAPA Late Models) – In the always exciting Late Models that features close racing right down to the finish Sean Beardsley grabbed his second win of the year. Beardsley took the lead on lap 13 in the 20-lap feature from Alan Fink and then outran Chris Fleming to the checkers.

(E&V Energy Novice Sportsman) – Amy Holland grabbed the win in the 15-Lap E&V Energy Novice Sportsman main. The win wasn’t an easy one as she had to hold off teenager Tyler Trump for the feature win. With her victory Amy Holland will now be moving up to the SUNY Canton Sportsman.

(Hilton’s Automotive Four-Cylinders) – Dakota Bechler too the surprising win in the 15-lap Hilton’s Automotive Four-Cylinders. Bechler passed point leader and three time feature winner Tim Dunn. Once in the lead Bechler was able to hold off Dunn For his first-ever Fulton win.
