Fulton –- The Officers and Directors of the Friends of History In Fulton, N. Y., Inc., will host their annual Cookies and Punch Christmas Open house at the John Wells Pratt House Museum, 177 South First Street, Fulton, N.Y. from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 5.
The community is invited to come and enjoy cookies, punch, family holiday fun and musical entertainment provided by members of the G. Ray Bodley High Orchestra under the direction of Anna Santy, who will play from 2:30 to 3:30. Take some time to delight in the Parade of Trees display, vote for your favorite, tour the museum, and relax in the festive holiday atmosphere of this Victorian 1861 home that is listed on the Historic Register.
Visitors are asked to bring an unwrapped toy for the Toys for Tots campaign, as the Pratt House is a drop off point for this campaign sponsored by the Marine Corp. Reserve.
The Pratt House gift shop will also be open for shopping. There are Fulton historical throws, Pratt House T-shirts and hoodies, books on Fulton history and some toys for sale. Proceeds from these sales benefit the Friends of History In Fulton, N. Y., Inc., the operators of the John Wells Pratt House Museum.
The public is welcome to stop by anytime between 2:00 and 4:00 P.M. for refreshments and to take a break from the holiday rush. For more information, call 598-4616.
