Open House Held at Oswego County BOCES’ Mexico Campus Location

Parents and family members of Oswego County BOCES students in the Special Education, Multi-Occupational and Career and Technical Education programs were recently able to take part in the school’s annual Open House. Held at OCB’s main campus in Mexico, the event gave parents an opportunity to meet their child’s teacher and/or team of teachers, visit classrooms and shop areas, see some of the projects the students have been working on since the start of the school year, and also participate in some fun activities. Pictured are parent and student visitors to Mr. Mark Ellis’ Computer Repair and Networking (A+ and Cisco) classroom where he shared an overview of what students in his classes will be learning, what the job market looks like for graduates from the program and general information about Oswego County BOCES and its cooperative services.
