Open House Planned for Friends of History in Fulton’s 40th Anniversary

FULTON – The Friends of History in Fulton is celebrating its 40th anniversary and 40 years of the John Wells Pratt House Museum.

The Friends of History in Fulton was incorporated in 1979. Pictured is the J.W. Pratt House Museum in Fulton, built in 1863.

A special gathering is planned at an open house just to celebrate this special occasion on July 13 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the J.W. Pratt House Museum, 177 S. First St.

The public is invited to join for cake and refreshments and to reminisce about the 40 years of success that the sponsors, members and the community have made possible.

“Without their dedication and support, the Friends of History and the Pratt House Museum would not have flourished and would not be the important part of the Fulton community that it is today,” said a spokesperson of Friends of History.

The Friends of History in Fulton will celebrate its 40th anniversary at all of its events throughout the year.
