Angela Miner Announces Fulton Library Board Candidacy As Write-In

by Contributor | May 15, 2020 7:23 pm

I would like to introduce myself.  My name is Angela Miner, and I am running for a seat on the Fulton Library Board — as a “write – in.”

I have lived in Fulton most of my life.  I attended Fulton City Schools and graduated from G. Ray Bodley High School.

I am a wife, mother, and grandmother.  I retired from Alltel Telephone Company with over 10 years of service. I also am retired from Fulton City School system, where I was a Teachers Aide and lunch monitor for over 8 years.

As a Teacher’s Aide, I worked with children every day to help with their learning, part of which involved reading. Reading is a very important part of every day life and keeps our minds active and also keeps us informed. Reading is a very important fundamental and builds minds.

The seat on the Library Board will help with important decisions in planning the future of our public library.  With your support, I would consider this as a step to helping to build a better future for our citizens of Fulton.

I would like to ask you for your support on June 9, 2020 as a “ write- in” candidate.

Please note when writing in my name that it appears as  Angela Miner

Thank you,
Angela Miner
