Jim Eby is the only choice

For the past two decades I have had the pleasure of knowing Mr. James Eby both personally and professionally as a news reporter.

I believe he will be an excellent Family Court judge because he is dedicated, compassionate and a true professional.

His law practice is run efficiently and effectively and there’s no doubt these are qualities he will bring with him to the courthouse along with the honesty and integrity for which he is so well known.

Mr. Eby’s opponent, Mrs. Lou Anne Rucynski-Coleman has made an attempt to portray Mr. Eby as being too old to finish the 10-year judicial term.

I believe Mrs. Rucynski-Coleman’s perception of the duties and responsibilities bestowed upon a Family Court judge is a bit skewed.

When it comes to our children, quality, not quantity, is what matters most.

If we conclude that the length of service is more important than the quality of the service, then we have done a disservice to the children of our community.
