Thank You For Remembering Those In Need

To The Editor:

Please remember the food drive taking place at the TOPS store in Fulton.

This effort come about to assist the efforts by Catholic Charities in filling the large requests for food baskets this holiday season.

The need continues and we want to assure families will have enough food for the holiday and when children are off that week on “vacation” from school.

The second half of this food drive is to fill the small pantry for the Meals on Wheels program.

Often times the drivers that deliver the meals will find that due to bad weather some of our elderly cannot get out safely to shop and find themselves running very short of items that will carry them over a day or two.

The drivers will often carry a few items with them to assure that no one goes hungry.

TOPS has been a great partner in assisting with this food drive, now in its third year.

I would encourage you to drop off any items you wish to donate, but more so to spend some time shopping in TOPS and drop off an item or two on your way out.

Thank you to all of the employees at TOPS for doing this.
