“YOU GOT I.D.?!!!”

You will not believe how many times I heard that exact phrase at liquor stores and any other places ‘that sold alcohol, especially bars in 1979. Myself and two of my best friends all turned 18 in January of 1979, our senior year at high school. We were welcomed at every house party. What did we use for identification to legally purchase these intoxicating beverages or patronize these local bars? A PAPER DRIVERS LICENSE THAT HAD NO PHOTO! How did we frequent these bars on the weekends while still in high school? WE ALL HAD JOBS along while being in school. NYS driver’s license did not prove who you were, just how old you were ! NYS signed on with 49 other states to raise the drinking age to 21 on 7/2/84, but kept 18 for voting, buying lottery tickets, and you were considered an adult! That “BS” has imploded to appease all these lobbyists on Capitol Hill who represent insurance companies, etc. So now the SAVE act is being challenged by all the democrats, which is favored by over 80 % of Americans citizens because they want to protect the 10-20 million illegal imigrants who entered this country unvetted by Joe Biden. Why, they want to change the rules and let them vote.Now they bash president Trump how they are being removed.. He is following the immigration laws. Now I will admit that some instances such as in Minnesota were unfortunate. But once again, Chuck Schumer and his cronies are withholding paychecks for our TSA workers for what? To protect “ILLIGAL IMMIGRANTS’! So they can vote in future elections if the democrats regain power. They have not shown one instance where someone couldn’t get a copy of their birth certificate or a married person who changed their last name after getting married ( where did they get their marriage license) A clerk’s office??? Now once again, according to Chuck Schumer, it’s Jim Crow 2.0 AGAIN, and voter suppression ?! If you are not a citizen of the United States you cannot vote. That, democrats IS in the constitution! You continue to defend and push forward topics that the majority of Americans disapprove. And all the current messages from democrats do not include what their policies they want to forward when/if they regain power to help the American people. It’s all focused on reversing everything President Trump has accomplished, tearing down the ballroom, etc. they cannot separate themselves from the Democratic Party to acknowledge what he has done already in 15 months in office. ‘“TDS” is real people, and you need to realize that the democrats have no clear message of how they are going to better for the “American citizens”, only set their priorities to bash president Trump and what else we can do for all the illegal immigrants so they can vote in 2026 and2028.
