OSWEGO BAGELRY AND RJ CARUSO TO SPONSOR TWIN FEATURES AND FIREWORKS THIS SATURDAY, JULY 3

*** Oswego Speedway Press ***

A big Independence Day Weekend at the Oswego Speedway has been made even bigger with the rained out features from June 19th starting off the afternoon at 4:00 before the regularly scheduled night of activities. All the action for the weekend kicks off on Friday night with the mid-summer WSEN Super Cruise and “Party in the Pits.” The action goes trackside on Saturday with another advanced sale Price Chopper $10 Night.

Adult grandstand ticket holders from the June 19th race will get a $5 discount off adult tickets on July 3rd. (See related Oswego Speedway website article for complete $5 discount details.)

With the addition of the June 19th feature races, the Novelis Supermodifieds will run “Twin 45’s” and PathFinder Bank SBS Series will run “Twin 30’s.” After the June 19th races are completed all the race teams will come onto the track for the Constellation and Entergy “Kids Autograph Session.” After the end of the regular features at the end of the night there will be a fireworks display and the Domicolo & Barlow Band will play on the Burkes and Galloway Realty infield stage. Saturday’s racing action is sponsored by the Oswego Bagelry & Sandwich Shop and RJ Caruso Tax & Accounting.

Our first race night sponsor this week, the Oswego Bagelry & Sandwich Shop, continues its sponsorship as a race night sponsor again in 2010. The shop, originally opened as the Bridge Street Bagelry in 1988, has since relocated to 205 West First Street and changed its name to reflect an expanded menu. In addition to the freshest bagels in Oswego and their specialty home-made flavored cream cheeses, they serve salads and some of the largest hot or cold sandwiches you’ll find anywhere. They are open weekdays from 5:00 to 3:00 and on weekends from 6:30 to 2:00.

Our second race night sponsor is R.J. Caruso Tax & Accounting, owned by former Oswego Speedway Co-Owner Romey Caruso. Romey was one of the very first sponsors to sign on with the “New” Oswego Speedway when the track changed hands prior to the 2004 racing season. R.J. Caruso Tax and Accounting is one of the few accounting businesses that will handle tax preparation for the auto racing industry. Romey, Jason Rinoldo and Chad Holbert handle racing clients on the local as well as national racing scene. In 2004 R.J. Caruso Tax and Accounting expanded their business by offering a new payroll service to businesses in the local area.  In just five short years, that program has made them a leader in the Payroll Service business throughout all of Central New York.

Oswego Speedway is proud to have Oswego Bagelry & Sandwich Shop and RJ Caruso Tax & Accounting as race night sponsors for this big Independence Weekend double feature show.
