Oswego City Easter Egg Hunt Slated March 31

OSWEGO – The Oswego Kiwanis Club is once again teaming up with the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau to host an Easter egg hunt at Breitbeck Park on March 31.

At its meeting Monday night, the Physical Services Committee gave a favorable recommendation to the Youth Bureau’s request to use Breitbeck Park for the event.

There will be four start times, one for each age group.

10 a.m. for ages 3-5. There will be a special section roped-off for toddlers, 2 years old or younger, to hunt for bigger eggs.
11 a.m. for ages 6-8.
noon for ages 9-11.
1 p.m.- for any age child with special needs.

Pictures with the Easter Bunny and Spiderman will be available.

Search and rescue dog, Canine Phillip, will also make an appearance.

There will be free raffles, candy in all eggs and goody bags for all kids.

There will also be refreshments and games in the pavilion after the hunt.

Please dress your children warm and in layers.

Bring your own basket (or bag) to collect the eggs.
