The pair recently completed a New York State Police 20-week Basic K9 Handler training program in Cooperstown, where they were trained in tracking, building searches, handler protection, and narcotic detection.

Additional funding for the program including food, equipment, and veterinary bills have been supplemented through forfeitures acquired by the Oswego City Police Anti-Crime Team.

PLEASE apply for a body armor vest for your partner. We have raised funds on behalf of our Columbia Police Dept K-9 team. We are thrilled that ALL of our police dogs are “vested”. Vest’NPDP provided the vests and could do so much more quickly with the local donations which we raised. PLEASE vest your partner. Sgt Blendowski is the Team Leader of the Columbia Police Dept (Columbia SC) if you need more info about the importance of body armor vests. My very best wishes for success in your partnership on behalf of your citizens. Annette Boette, Columbia SC
